Makeup Artist
I first started dabbling in special effects when I was 13. Since then, I have created numerous looks on myself and friends. I have worked for haunted houses, bridal parties and Sephora. In December of 2021, I got certified for Character and Special Effects from The Art of Makeup School in Portland Oregon. After the winter, I have done a number of professional gigs and am excited for more! I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun along the way! Art of Makeup School
October 2021 - December 2021
Prior to attending The Art of Makeup school, I was self-taught. I learned how to do makeup from watching the TV series FaceOff, YouTube videos, and lots of trial and error. Through grade school, I did makeup for my dance team and each theatre production. Then I had the opportunity to attend The Art of Makeup and got my certification in Character and Special Effects.
Makeup Artist and Performer
October 2017 - October 2020
My first gig was at a local haunted house called the Vancouver Elks Lodge Haunted House. It was done in a community center, and I did it as a volunteer. The next few years following, I worked at the Scaregrounds Haunted House at the Clark County Fairgrounds/Oaks Park. When I participated in these haunted houses, I would do apply multiple makeup looks on various performers at a fast pace, after which, I'd then get my own makeup done and go perform in the haunt.
Assistant Makeup Artist
April 2022 - August 2022
Between the months of April and August this year, I've had a few gigs that I was the assistant makeup artist for. I worked on a 48hr film project, did stage makeup for a college Opera, and Portland Fashion Week!
Head Makeup Artist
February 2022 - August 2022
As a head makeup artist, I have worked on an experimental film, done a local theater production, and a photoshoot for a couple of models.
